Ludlow is the number one destination for Shropshire breaks and this self catering cottage is very close to Ludlow centre being within the boundary of the old town walls in the conservation area.
Although close to the centre it is not on a main road. The location is quiet with no through traffic. The accommodation sleeps four but is ideal for two or single occupancy. |
|
Many of our guests enjoy the convenience of being able to leave their car in the garage whilst spend their time exploring the town’s many attractions and nearby walks.
Within 2 minutes you are in the centre where you can buy for your breakfast hot bread, farm butter and genuine freshly squeezed orange juice;.a perfect start to your break. |
|
The cottage is ideal for those wishing to visit the Ludlow Festival, the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival and the Christmas Medieval Fayre. Shops, pubs and the famous restaurants are also in a very short walking distance of this self catering rental, as is the Whitcliffe Common with its fine views of the River Teme, Ludlow castle and the old town walls.
This holiday let is also an excellent base from which to enjoy this part of Shropshire with its many interesting walks and historic towns or to visit the Welsh border towns.

Horseshoe Cottage is one of three terraced cottages converted from stables sometime in the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. As a result there are steps, either up or down, to most of the rooms.
The accommodation has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, making it the ideal holiday home.
|
There is a pretty, private enclosed paved garden to the rear with summer house, flowerbeds, garden chairs, barbecue and very tame blackbirds. Breakfast in the garden, or drinks late in the evening while you wait for the barbecue to cook, make this an ideal way to start and finish your day. |

What some of our recent guests have said about Horseshoe.
Cosy, comfortable and convenient we could not think of anything else we needed. The garage was a real asset. (P. & M. H. 21.11.15)
Once again a very enjoyable week in Ludlow and a very comfortable stay in Horseshoe Cottage. So convenient for the town centre with the added benefit of a lock up garage for the car. The "welcome pack" much appreciated and a thoughtful touch. (B. & M. K 6.11.15)
